MARITECH HIRES MARINE BUSINESS ADVISORS TO HELP DEVELOP
THEIR GROWING SERVICE AND REPAIR BUSINESS
Palm Beach Gardens, Florida… (November 1, 2009)...Maritech Services, the service company used exclusively by well known National Liquidators announced today that they have engaged Marine Business Advisors and Jim Bronstien to provide guidance and assistance to help manage the tremendous growth now occurring at Maritech. “Jim’s experience in the boatyard and marine service industry is invaluable and very much welcome for Maritech as we are experiencing major growth in our service business,” said Maritech and National Liquidators President G. Robert Toney. “We are excited to be able to have Jim as part of our team as we improve and advance this company.”
Bronstien, thru his advisory firm Marine Business Advisors, has taken on this assignment with 25 years of marine operations experience, much of it as the former president and owner of Rybovich in West Palm Beach. During his career there, he built and led the team that transformed the company into the country’s premier yacht yard prior to selling the company in 2004. For the past 5 years, Bronstien has established himself as a marine industry consultant in high demand from the yacht service and boatyard industry. As President of Marine Business Advisors, his roles typically involve multi-month engagements where he has worked with several select businesses including such companies as both Marina Pez Vela in Costa Rica and Saunders Yacht Yard where he is also a partner. Other notable companies that have engaged Marine Business Advisors over the past few years include Boat Clubs America, Broward Marine, Yacht Path, Bellport Group, City of Kodiak Alaska, and Sacks Yachting Group among others.
Maritech, which employs 50 full time staff, has seen enormous growth over the past year due primarily to the increase in service demands from National Liquidator and also from an increase in retail service business. Maritech currently has two locations, one in Ft. Lauderdale and one in Ft. Myers, Florida. Bronstien will be providing guidance and assistance in further developing policies, procedures and direction where needed while the Maritech team further builds and enhances their overall business processes. “I have known Bob Toney for many years and when he and I spoke of the opportunities to grow and enhance Maritech to be the leader in the marine service sector, I became very excited to get involved with yet another excellent company,” said Bronstien.
National Liquidators is the largest repossession, recovery and sales outlet in the United States and has three outlets around the country. Maritech is the exclusive service provider for National Liquidators and focuses on service and repair of boats from 25’ up to 75’.
