Marine Business Advisors is a consulting firm specializing in boatyard, marina and marine service businesses. Jim Bronstien who is most widely known as the former Owner and President of Rybovich Boat Company (formerly Rybovich Spencer) has been actively engaged in all aspects of the yacht industry for over 25 years.

After owning the Rybovich business for over 20 years, Jim has spent the past several years, using his vast knowledge and experience in assisting numerous other service, marina and boatyard businesses in operational, marketing, and organizational development throughout the world. Recent clients include Broward Marine, Marina Pez Vela in Costa Rica, Bellport Marine Group, Saunders Yacht Works, BoatClubsAmerica and Yacht Path International.  

Under Jim’s long-term leadership at Rybovich, the company and its reputation grew substantially to become one of the most prominent, prestigious and well-recognized yacht service, marina, and boat building companies in the United States. His consulting work under Marine Business Advisors has also proven to be an enormous benefit for each company he has become involved with.  

With degrees in both finance and marketing, Jim has a vast amount of knowledge and experience in all facets of business including operations, sales, marketing, customer service, project management, financial and human resource issues to name few. Jim is seasoned in public speaking and communications and is a frequent speaker in industry and community functions. He is the primary instructor for the Marine Service Management program offered both in the U.S. and now in Australia. 

Jim has been very active in the marine industry over the years and still serves on a number of boards including American Boat Builders and Repairers Association (ABBRA) where he is a past President, Marine Industry Association of Palm Beach County where he is also a past-President, and Marine Industry Association of South Florida. Jim was the 2005 recipient of the ABBRA Dennis Snow President’s Award. 

Jim is also very active in his community having also served on many local boards including past-President of Sunfest, past president of Palm Beach Rotary Club, a long-term appointee to Palm Beach County’s Tourist Development Council and a board member of American Red Cross.
